I'm married with 2 wonderful children. My house seems to have become a zoo overnight, filling up with dogs and ferrets and who knows what else. I'm always on the go do this or that. After all, being a wife and mother is a full-time job. When do I get the chance to write you ask? Well I do my best to squeeze writing into my very hectic life. It's not easy sometimes but I manage to get it done. Somehow.

A New Year!

Happy 2006 everybody!!! :) Okay so a new year is here and resolutions are beginning to fly from everyone...even those that say they aren't making any resolutions. I have vowed not to fall into the "I will lose weight this year" trap. Do I need to lose weight? Hell, yes. But it is something I need to do and I don't want any excuses like "Oh it was a resolution, those things never work" following me around. Problem with losing weight is that it will put a huge damper on my budget. Mainly because my kids aren't going to eat salads and diet food no matter how good they may taste to me. My daughter is extremely picky so that would mean I would be making a different dinner for them than for me. My husband probably wouldn't eat it either. So portion control seems to be the way to go. I mean it isn't like we eat out all the time, usually once maybe twice a week depending on what sport event for my son we are running to or from. So my goals for this year are to lose 60 lbs, to finish writing Broken Cowboy and sub to a publisher, to write a childrens book, and to say I love you to my husband more often. I guess that's a good jumping off point, I'm sure I will add more goals this year to my list as I see where life is taking me. Hope everyone had a safe holiday.
