I'm married with 2 wonderful children. My house seems to have become a zoo overnight, filling up with dogs and ferrets and who knows what else. I'm always on the go do this or that. After all, being a wife and mother is a full-time job. When do I get the chance to write you ask? Well I do my best to squeeze writing into my very hectic life. It's not easy sometimes but I manage to get it done. Somehow.

Isn't that too Weird?

Okay so I've finished writing Broken Cowboy and sent it off to my editor for review. After work yesterday I went to my local Wal-mart and picked up some ferret food. Upon entering I walked right by a man who was missing a leg. Well he had the prosthetic limb attached which was completely visible because he was wearing shorts. Then inside I saw a man who was missing an arm. Weird cause Broken Cowboy is about a man who has lost his leg in a horse riding accident. Makes you go hum!

I noticed you don't have this review on your website, and it's a good one :) http://www.loveromances.com/nightstalker_penny.html

Paula, I'm Cathie. We've met at the NCP chat.
I'm deaf, which is not so much a visable disability but I'm too conscious of it and didn't sign alot in public, tried to speak. But over time, I so accepted how I was that I would see a person look at me and my husband when we were walking and signing but I would have it bother me at all. This is what I feel about that man as you describe it, that growing towards acceptness towards his disability and being out more in the community. I think maybe this incident occured even because you experienced it through writing the book?
I'm looking forward to this. I hope to find more about this and when its out and all. I always love a cowboy story!

Thank you so much Cathie. I enjoyed writing Broken cowboy and was so happy and yet upset to finish. Even now that it is at my editor office, I find more of the story I want to write. I love to learn about anything and the research I did on prostethics and how they limited people years ago and how far they have come in science to help these people have full lifes is amazing. I hope to see you around more often. I am going to be running a conteest here in the next couple of weeks to celebrate my release of Night Stalker in paperback and hopefully I will have news about Broken Cowboy to celebrate also.
