I'm married with 2 wonderful children. My house seems to have become a zoo overnight, filling up with dogs and ferrets and who knows what else. I'm always on the go do this or that. After all, being a wife and mother is a full-time job. When do I get the chance to write you ask? Well I do my best to squeeze writing into my very hectic life. It's not easy sometimes but I manage to get it done. Somehow.

A Marvelous Book

I am currenlty trying to relax and recoop from editing overload. Broken Cowboy is finished and winging its way to my editor. I am reading a book called The Complete Writer's Guide to Heroes & Heroines (Sixteen Master Archetypes). I know I am supposed to be taking a break. But I read through the first couple pages and am hooked. It is going to become a most invaluable resource for me during my writing. It breaks down the basic types of Heros and Heroines, giving characteristics even some ideas of history for why they are the way they are. Even defines some careers they would hold beside of their personalities. This is a must have for any writer. Keep it close at hand and refer to it often. I was drawing a blank on what story to write next but this book is giving me all kinds of ideas and storylines just by describing the wonderful character types.
