Slaving away
...at nothing. My mind is mulling over several ideas, for this MS and for others floating around in the space between my ears. I guess my body is just worn out. I can't think straight long enough to churn out another chapter of Wolfe Investigations. I alotted myself a week per chapter and have stuck to that so far. In five weeks I have written five chapters. Now three days into my sixth week and I haven't written word one. I'm stuck. Dragging ass. The words are failing me... and I hate it. I love this story, and I want to continue on, mainly because it gives me something to think about while I wait PATIENTLY to hear back from my editor on Broken Cowboy and from the children's publisher on A Teeter-totter Named Renee. I am taking time out to read some books, more research for my werewolf storyline. Which by the way for those of you out there who love a sweet fun read or if you have teenage or pre-teen girls who love to read, Chloe: Queen of Denial by Naomi Nash was very funny. I picked it up because I am researching different publishers for the ideas I have to write Young Adult books. Dorchester's Smooch line is filled with very good books for young girls and I guess boys might like them as well. Well back to playing instead of working. I really need to concentrate and buckle down. Just write! :) |
