Form rejection!
My first big R. I'm upset but not crippled by it. I was rejected on my children's book A Teeter-totter Named Renee. I'm upset a little because I thought it was a cute little story that kids could learn from about self-esteem and that they should appreciate and love who they are. I guess what really upsets me about it was that I didn't even warrant a letter rejection. I got it back in the mail along with a small 3X5 piece of paper stating they do not have time to respond to every submission personnaly but they appreciate me trying them. I will of course search out another publisher and submit it again because I love the story. It would go over better with publishers I think if I could talk my sister into illustrating it. HINT HINT *giggles* She's real busy with moving and all but I think she could squeeze me in, dont' ya think. *That would be another hint* Back to the grind... |
